Melissa A. Thompson, PhD, has a Doctorate in Organizational Management, an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology (cancer diagnosis). For the past 25 years, she has been in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and/or Clinical Affairs roles providing both consultative services, as well as holding several executive roles. Her career encompasses all aspects of the pharmaceutical, medical device arena, working with or consulting to pharmaceutical companies, medical device, IVD diagnostic, companion diagnostic products as well as biologics companies. She is well respected in the industry and assisted numerous companies with strategic planning, developing quality systems and compliance programs, due diligence, manufacturing execution to commercialization and regulatory submissions.
