Aging is a multifaceted biological process. Increasing healthy longevity requires a multifaceted approach.
Targeting Healthy Longevity (THL) brings together a diverse range of geroscience experts, from researchers and healthcare providers to regulators and entrepreneurs. In free, virtual discussions held throughout the year, speakers share their work with each other and the interested public. Anyone can register to attend a session as a guest.
Recent sessions have addressed topics including:
- The physiological effects of loneliness
- Calculating the endpoints of chronic disease
- Longevity products currently on the market, including laser and stem cell therapies
THL began as a series of annual Metabesity Conferences, eventually renamed Targeting Metabesity. While THL is still rooted in metabesity — the chronic diseases associated with aging, like diabetes and cancer — the pivot to a series of shorter, online webinars has allowed healthy aging to further enter the public consciousness.
